Tanya's Birthday

March Merriment!

I can't believe it's been so long since we posted anything on the blog......and so much has happened!

We have had a fabulous month here in Taipei, with both of my lovely room mates having their birthdays. Tanya started the party off 9th March with a night at the Cain and then Brass Monkey (always a bad idea on a school night!!!!). The weekend continued in true style with what can only be described as one of the most unforgetable nights ever, all thanks to Miss Honi Bee, she is truely amazing and kept us all going all night, morning and all the next afternoon! I think its safe to say a good time was had by all, and I know T had a great birthday.....the picture speaks for its self (don't ask!). The night was so good, that despite that fact that I had practically talked about nothing else for 48 hours, I ended up having to watch the first F1 Grand Prix of the 2006 season, in Chinese at home. I had been so determined that I would make it to the Brass Monkey, but I finally conceded defeat, when, at 5.30pm Honi was still pouring us shots!

The 2006 season has been a great one so far, with Amy and I turning into complete F1 geeks, researching all the teams, new rules and as much engine stuff as 2 girls can!(thanks again David for the great book, hoping it might help with some of that technical stuff!) We are of course, still 100% behind McLaren, but I am still hoping Jenson Button will finally do something spectacular this season! So close and yet so far in the Australian GP yesterday, starting off in pole and then the engine going 5 meters from the finish line!

We are so dedicated that not only are our Sundays dominated by the race but, we have also started watching the qualifiers on Saturdays too, unfortunately annoyingly in Chinese!

Then on to Miss Amy Long Legs Dirty Thirty celebrations on March 26th. We had a great mexican meal here at the house with friends, followed by dancing the night away at Deluxe and then Cor. Amy looked absolutely beautiful in her new green skirt (thanks to carol)and even if we do say so ourselves, the gorgeous ring and bracelet that Tanya and I got her.....

Well, thats about it from Twats in Taiwan for now, it will probably be another month or 2 before the next update.....with the korea crew coming to visit us agin in early May, I'm sure there will be lots more to say.

Enjoy the pic's, not sure which order they will come up in but, a couple from Amy's birthday party (we have got really bad at taking our cameras out, we do have great pic's but all on other people's cameras!). Also the morning after the night before from Tanya's celebrations. And finally Sunday sessions at Brass Monkey for F1.

Love and kisses to everyone, we miss you
