April & May update from Jackie land!
I know I say this everytime I haven't written for ages but, its been yet another crazy and busy few weeks here in Taipei for the Jackies. I don't even know where to start.....
We have, as always, been having lots of fun and I think we all managed to go to work for most of April, which makes a nice change.
Tanya went on a visit to Korea to see her Mum and Dad, it was really strange not having her at home for a few days.
Amy & I were quite lost without her, so much so that I actually ended up meeting an amazing guy......yes, you did hear me right, I have met someone and he's totally fabulous. We are like annoying lovesick teenagers (sorry T & Tynee) but its fanastic. His name is Eben and he's from South Africa, pictures are posted below. So much of my time over the last few weeks has been spent with him.
We also had a great visit from our friends in Korea. Now Jeremy's 4th visit in 10 months....when are you actually going to move here Mr Benware???? It was so exciting to see Anna again, another Brit chick to chat to. It was lovely to meet Mel for the first time too, always fab to see you Shawn. We had quite a crazy few days when they were here. We should have know after the first night out, hitting the Cain and then the Monkey that things would get messy.....and they did. We had a cool night at luxy, partying the night away. I think it was possibly the worse flight ever for the poor Korean's the next day.....It's all change here again soon, as Alex is leaving us on 9th June. But, we have found a really wonderful new roomie, Miss Honi Bee. We can't wait for her to move in. We will be sad to see Alex go but, we know when he does return to Taipei in September to start at NTU (congrats again on getting in x) that he'll still be popping by to say hi. And hopefully we'll see have our open mic nights at the cain! Anyway, thats about it from us. Enjoy the pictures, keep reading. Love and miss you all

To my beautiful and most especially wonderful Jackies, who have accepted me as their mainly absent brother these past 6 months.
Thank you all for the wonderful times you have shown me, when I've had a long week on the road, or even just a difficult time in Taipei, Its been heaven (I really mean that) to come home and see you all there smiling, ready to ask me how my day was.
There is nothing like the feeling of coming home, and for me, our home has given me that feeling.
Thanks for letting a man/boy into your home. I hope that when I come back to Taipei, you'll let me come good on that promise to cook a wonderful dinner for you all.
Thank you for supporting me in my first ever live performance of my own songs at the Cain. I hope more songs follow, and when the party eventually moves to the Monkey (as it will inevitably do) and I have long since been locked out of my dorm at NTU, I look forward to making use of the new games room and its bed.
Enjoy your summer Girls, and if you ever need anything, just let me know.
Alex
